The 37.27 sq.m. extension was designed as a contemporary and self-contained residence, maintaining a direct yet distinct relationship with the existing building. A key objective was to integrate the new addition harmoniously into the existing structure through its form, proportions and material palette, while at the same time establishing a contemporary and independent identity.
The residence is organized as a compact and functional layout comprising a living room with kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom, while the independent entrance reinforces its autonomous character. Particular emphasis was placed on making the most of every square meter and incorporating functional solutions that ensure comfort and practicality.
The selection of materials and colour combinations creates a contemporary and youthful aesthetic, with an emphasis on warmth and spatial clarity.
The name “+one” expresses the idea of adding one more residence—not simply as an extension of the existing building, but as a new, autonomous unit with its own distinct identity.
